Bonnie In the Picture

Bonnie Wroe is a talented art student who as a Year 13 student from Rangitikei College last year was awarded an excellence at Level Three NCEA for her art folio.  As such she has had her work displayed at the Te Manawa exhibition along with other Level 3 2008 merit and excellent folio boards of the Art disciplines; painting, photography, design and printmaking from local Manawatu schools. Her work was only one of two excellent painting boards on display.

Bonnie who has won several national awards for her art over the past few years and has also recetnly won another award for her art work from the Rangitikei College 2008 Yearbook.  This was entered was entered, by youthline, into another competition for Vodafone and won first prize. Bonnie receives and an i-pod worth $500 and the work will feature on the Vodafone website. Bonnie was also featured in the March Tearaway magazine.

This year Bonnie is at Wanganui Ucol doing a 4 year Fine Arts degree and her prize winning art work graces the front of our 2009 school diary.
